It’s no surprise that Farm Girl Café made my list of favourite London coffee shops. Tucked away on one of the mews of Notting Hill, Farm Girl is an Australian style, farm-to-table café that always leaves its guests wanting more. Myself included. I first found this café through word of mouth and by the envious social feeds of London’s top bloggers. I was only a matter of time before I found myself sat at one of their famous pink tables after I arrived in London. That was two years ago. Now, I’m on a first name basis with some of the hosts and I don’t even live in London. Coincidence? Perhaps.
The Rose Latte is always the first thing I order when coming to Farm Girl Café. So many of the other options are phenomenal – but I have yet to find anywhere else that can make me a Rose Latte in the way that Farm Girl Café can. However, if you find yourself craving a cappuccino, you may just find yourself with a chocolate frenchie on the top. The perfect way to muse about London? Stop in for a caffeine fix and a little bit of brunch.
I’d previously mentioned that Farm Girl Café was a farm-to-table café. Another thing that I find to be quite attractive about this establishment is just how many vegetarian and vegan options they have on the menu. Whilst I am neither, I find myself preferring a vegetable-based dish more often than not. They’re hearty, but light enough that they don’t leave you feeling tired after you’ve just had a large meal.
Alongside preferring more vegetable-based dishes, I’ve also got quite the sweet tooth. The last time I popped into the café, I was given one of their delightful doughnuts as a little sweet treat. Today, it was a raspberry croissant – and you know what? It did just the trick.
As someone who plans her city visits based on good food and even better coffee – I can certainly say that this is a top spot. Would you ever consider trying Farm Girl Café? Have you already? I’d love to know what you thought. Until next, xoxo.
