Autumn runways and editions of magazines are full of trends every season. Some of these trends really take flight, whether it be a new ‘it’ colour or a reinvented silhouette and some are recycled for the next season. One of my personal favourite trends to look for are new colours to inject into my wardrobe, and one of my favourite colours to style this season is emerald green. A sleek addition to any wardrobe, it’s an extremely versatile and flattering shade that can be worn in many ways. From a monochromatic look to injecting the colour in smaller ways via standout accessories, there’s a way for everyone to incorporate it into their look.

One way to wear emerald green this season is to pair the colour with an on-trend silhouette. I personally love the look of a fluted sleeve – it’s sleek and elegant, and the emerald shade of this knit is perfect for the autumn season. I chose black flared denim to mimic the look of the sleeve and to balance the look. The deep tones of the denim work well with the deeper cool tones of the emerald green, and to keep the same tones in the footwear, I added my favourite pair of leather boots.

If the bold injection of colour isn’t really your cup of tea, a perfect way to wear emerald this season is with your accessories. Keep the base of your look simple, I paired together a grey knit and lightly distressed denim, and accented the look with black heels. My standout accessory is a beautifully unique wood watch from JORD watches’ Frankie series. The face of the watch is a bold emerald green, extremely on trend for autumn and extremely versatile to pair with any outfit. I went for the Frankie because of the larger face and the minimalist design. It’s a unisex design, so it’s a perfect addition to anyone’s autumn wardrobe.

I also have some great news to share with you all. If you’re as much in love with this watch as I am – then you’re in luck! The lovely team at JORD and I are hosting a $100 giveaway towards one of their beautiful time pieces. I’ll place the link to enter here. The giveaway ends on October 15th, so make sure you enter before it closes!
